It is CRUCIAL that you also descrive how to import video file and create new compositio before actually making tracking process.... I failed so many times with thid and needed to re-watch tutorials to do it correctly....if you do not do it correctly, the tracker doesn't know, what source it's gonna apply tje tracking data to.... please, update it
I select my layer but it's still creating a shape instead of a mask. What am I doing wrong?

I know it's probably not basic, but what about comping 3D models in AE?
I would like to know how to do a nice sky replacement and keep every detail when you do it, like save tons of details of threes or anything tiny
@@Mr__Chick you could try the refine edge tool after rotoscoping
Usually I use the extract effect for do it and mask where the effect needs to work but sometimes it doesn't work correctly, obviously i use the refine edge tool
